Research lines

My current research interests are Fuzzy and Graded Logics, Normative Multi-Agent Systems and Multi-Agent Automated Negotiation.

Teaching

Associate Professor of Logic at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). I am currently teaching at the Master in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence of the UAB.

Working on

Researcher at the projects Agreement Technologies (CONSOLIDER CSD2007-0022), Efficient automated reasoning systems with incomplete and imprecise information based on SAT and CSP (TIN2009-14704-C03-03) and at the Working Group on Mathematical Fuzzy Logic (MathFuzzLog).

Academics

PhD in Mathematical Logic from the Universitat de Barcelona (1996). Since 1990 I have contributed to the field of Model Theory of Algebra and to the study of the Horn and Universal-Horn fragments of Equality-free languages. From 1999 to 2001, I was working as postdoctoral researcher in the Equipe de Logique Mathemathique du CNRS (Universite Paris7). I am cofounder of the Barcelona Logic Seminar in 1991.
