Marc Esteva's homepage



Marc Esteva is a "Ramon y Cajal" research fellow at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA). He obtained a PhD in computer science by the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in 2003.  The PhD was carried out at the IIIA under the supervision of Professor Carles Sierra. The PhD focused on engineering open multi-agent systems as electronic institutions. More information about electronic institutions can be found here.

After his PhD. he carried out research at at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and at the E-Markets Group of the Faculty of Information Technology at University of Technology Sydney ((UTS).
