The PhD Theses: "Action Selection in Cooperative Robot Soccer using Case-Based Reasoning" by Raquel Ros, "Ensemble Case-Based Learning for Multi-Agent Systems" by Santi Ontañon, and "Contributions to Record Linkage for Disclosure Risk Assessment" by Jordi Nin, have received the "Outstanding PhD Award" from the Computer Science Department of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). A total of 11 theses, among the 50+ PhD theses defended within the period 2005 to 2008, have received this distinction.
