Jordi Sabater-Mir is a tenured scientist at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Barcelona, Spain. He holds a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence and was a postdoctoral Marie Curie fellow at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies (ISTC-CNR) in Rome, Italy. His research is focused on computational models of trust and reputation, agent based social simulation and computational cognitive models and has been doing research in the area of multiagent systems for the last 17 years. He has published more than 100 papers in journals (JAAMAS, PLOS-One, Knowledge-Based Systems…) and international conferences and workshops (AAMAS, IJCAI, ECAI…) and has been the main researcher in several European and national research projects. He has been PC member of the main conferences and workshops in the area of MAS and has organized several workshops in the area of computational trust and reputation systems. Currently he is the president of the European Association for Multi-Agent Systems (EURAMAS).
