Two types of submissions are solicited: long papers describing substantial, completed work, and short papers describing either results that can be concisely reported or work in progress. Submissions must be clearly marked as one of these two types. The programme committee may decide to move accepted contributions from the long to the short paper category. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. The programme committee will decide the suitable form of presentation of each paper, either oral or poster. Format: The size limit for submissions is 6000 words for long papers, and 4000 words for short papers (excluding title page, but including all tables, figures and bibliography). Submissions exceeding this limit will not be reviewed. A separate title page must contain the title of the paper, the names and affiliations of all authors, the type of submission, a list of keywords, and an abstract of maximum 200 words. The full address of the first author (or the contact person), including phone, fax, and e-mail, must be given. The following items must be submitted: Four double sided hard copies of the paper, an electronic version of the paper (a gzip compressed PostScript), and an electronic version of the title page in plain ASCII. Electronic submissions should be sent by email to ecml2000@iiia.csic.es |
