Learning for intelligent problem solving

Work on AI systems with learning capabilities is quite varied in IIIA. We have focused on symbolic learning methods not as isolated techniques. We have developed learning methods that are integrated in AI systems--- that is to say, that deal with other subareas of AI like reasoning and problem-solving, knowledge acquisition and modelling, distributed AI and multiagent systems.
